I cant think of a title

Always borrow money from a pessimist, he doesn't expect to be paid back.  ~Author Unknown

Just finished watching this HONGKONG drama about a week ago. I highly recommend it. hahaha! One reason is because of the lead character, who is also the handsome lawyer and another reason is because somehow I feel that some things shown in this drama is very real.
Basically this drama is talking about justice, conscience, pride and love, be it family love or relationship. Oh, theres also a social worker in this drama! :D The situations he handled could be some situations that some of us will be going through in the future! Just take away the drama part. hehehe :D andand it also shows how a lawyer, a policeman and a social worker work closely together. Go watch! heheh!

Start of school again! :D

Of course I look at the glass half full.  The only time I would look at it half empty is when I think about how good the first half tasted.  ~Drew Deyoung

hello! its back to school again! :D the past 2 weeks were pretty hectic for me. I was only home the whole day on 1 saturday :(  I can't remember everything that I've done but heres a few:

 1) I met up with my project mates to do our projects, all of them. And we were very efficient! :D

(madeline is missing)

2) I went for the deed signing (yes, i am the last to sign the thing. hahaha!)

3) I met up with my secondary 4 classmates! (my clique, we used to have cliques! heheh!)
we went to marina barrage to have a picnic plus catching up with each other and most importantly, we took pictures together! :D

4) I met up with my primary 1 classmate! We've been going out with each other since we were primary 4, when i transferred to another primary school. We went to tcc at suntec to have hightea but we changed our minds and had main course instead. (luckily they had a 1 for 1 promotion. heheh) then we went around suntec looking for more food but we settled for an ice latte at mc cafe. After that we went shopping but couldn't find anything we liked so we went to parkway, thinking that there would be more stuffs there. Sadly, nothing caught our eyes. hahah afterwhich we went to the aston at katong and had our dinner there. hehe she wanted to have steak so i decided to join her. That was my second time after how many donkey years that I've had steak. Honestly, I don't enjoy eating steak. I find it so tiring. Maybe I'll enjoy it in the future, but for now, I'm quite sure I don't like it. hehehe :D

5) I went to bukit batok to do volunteer work! :D Met Madeline at redhill mrt and then we went to bukit batok together. When we reached, we didn't see any of our classmates there. So we were thinking that maybe we were too early.  They'll all come soon. But then it was only the 2 of us. hahaha! Anyway, we were split into groups and we were not together. So we went round 5 blocks to collect newspapers and other recycling materials. It was actually quite enjoyable! :D

6) Sacrificed my beauty sleep (but this is not the point. heh) to clean up my grandma's stall with my mummy and my brother since school was going to reopen. I cleaned the walls (not all, half with my brother) and the top of the stove. And I am so proud of it. hehehe! Because it was oily, so I cleaned it many many times and then it wasn't oily anymore. Maybe it was still abit oily, but its cleaner! :D

7) Went for a class gathering with only 8 people turning up. But we still had fun. heh. We went to seoul garden(again) and the people working there actually told us to lower down our volume because some customers complained that we were too loud. Actually we were not very loud, we were louder in school last time. anyway, we still had to lower our volume but it was less than half an hour that another waiter told us to lower our volume. ohoh, then we went to popular cause some of them needed to get some things. We walked in, and then immediately, the staff 'shhh' at us. It took us about 30seconds to respond to that. then inside, another staff told us to lower our volume. I really didn't think that we were making alot of noise. Maybe we are just too used to speaking to each other at that volume. oh well, i think we need to learn to speak softer. (:

8) I went for guitar! :D Wanted to skip it but in the end, I didnt. hahah!

okay, thats about it. So wordy right! :D Yay, my group is going to present our project soon, hope we'll do much better! :D

Start of our 2 weeks holiday (:

If you can find a path with no obstacles, it probably doesn't lead anywhere.  ~Frank A. Clark

Firstly, HAPPY HAPPY 17th BIRTHDAY HORKUAN! :DD
(it's suppose to be 13th but I dont know why the thing says its 12th)
hello! hahah yes, it’s the start of our 2 weeks holiday! Which means it’s the end of our first term together. So fast :( I think everyone will be very busy these 2 weeks because of the projects that we have to complete. There should be about 5 projects that I have to complete by the end of the 2 weeks holiday. I used to think that projects were the easiest form of 'homework' and I also thought that it was the best way to get better grades for the year back in secondary and primary school. But now, projects aren't as simple as before where we would just search for information, copy and paste into powerpoint, crediting the websites we used and then handing it up. It's much more different now and I think I like it this way, it’s more challenging (: I'm looking forward to the next 2 weeks but there’s a part of me that is not looking forward to it. How ironic. The thing I'm looking forward to is to get started on my projects as well as meeting up with my secondary school friends and my and primary 1 friend. On the other hand, I don't want to be out the entire 2 weeks because I want to spend time at home. Now that I don't get to do so often because school started. Anyway, I'll be meeting up with my project mates tomorrow and the exciting thing is that we are each going to bring food and share with everyone in the group. Since I can’t cook, I’m going to bring fruit salad, basically just a mixture of fruits. Hehehe it’s like a mini picnic! :D

On Tuesday, my class had a class lunch at Seoul garden. It's one of the best class outing I've ever had! Thankyou welfare committee for making it a success! :D  heheheh can see how much fun we had from the picture! 'A picture paints a thousand words'. The next thing we are going to do is to make a class tee shirt! And then we are going to have another class outing probably at marina barrage. hehehe so exciting! :D  I don’t have better words to describe my class but I just love my class. I enjoy the company of my classmates, I really do. And I hope that the bond between each and every one of us will grow stronger each day for the next 3 years.  I know that it is impossible for everyone to be agreeable on the same thing because we are all different. We have our own ideas, our own way of thinking as well as our own way of doing things. To sum things up, we are all different individuals. But this is what makes us unique. Even though we have different characters and behaviours, as long as we make an effort to understand others and put ourselves in their shoes, we will be able to work together as one. (: Also, I feel that because each of us is different, it puts our friendships and bonds to a test. The fact that we are able to communicate well with one another proves that we have included others into our lives and that our life do not only revolve around ourselves. Ah okay, I love SS1101! :DD YAY!

FIRST FIELD TRIP WITH SS1101 TODAY! :D

Worrying is like a rocking chair, it gives you something to do, but it gets you nowhere.  ~Glenn Turner

We went to the Cheshire Home today! Its a home for the disabled. We started off with singing, guitar and singing, dancing and singing our final song -Top of the World. I like this song (: At first I was afraid to dance because its like dancing in front of a group of audience but then it was okay lah, even though I forgotten the steps or maybe I was just.. wols? (sorry Nadiah!! heh) But the rest of them danced really well!! I looked like a clown among them and its funny. heheheh! And then Suling and I were leading the song 'Tong Hua' so we sang into the microphone then theres this part that we sang quite loudly and no one else was singing! I think cause we were too fast. So we started laughing into the mircrophone! hahah thankyou Wenting for helping us while we were laughing! :D  After everything, we went to interact with the residents! Mad, Kenji and I were folding plastic bags together with the resident. I'm not sure about Mad and Kenji but I thought it was a good way to interact with him. (: Then we had a guided tour around the home and of course, we took pictures! :D After that, we left from there. I think its a good experience for all of us (: I had fun throughout :D We shouldn't treat others differently just because they are different from us. They each have their own strengths and seeing that the residents are happy just the way they are, I feel a sense of genuine happiness in me. The video that was showed to us during the briefing already made me smile. Live life to its fullest is all I can think of now.  :D

LOVE, ME. heheheh!

Quite a happening day today (:

“And, when you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.” The Alchemist,  page 23, by Paulo Coelho

I read this book before but if I could, I would want to read it again. Thats because the last time I read it, I didn't get it. Also, it was because I was in a rush to finish reading the book as I borrowed it from the library. Actually, I don't like reading books from the library. I like to own the books, stick my name on them and jacket them myself so I'd rather buy the books even though I will only read it once or twice. I don't read alot anyway. In fact, I seldom read. Ohyah, so I met up with my primary school friends the other day. We talked over supper and caught up alot with each other. Yeah, they talked about their JC life and stuffs but it was pretty interesting to know the kind of life that they are experiencing. We only spent a short 2 hours together but I enjoyed it so much. You know what I mean? When I was waiting for the bus to come, I had a short conversation with 1 of them. It was only about 2 minutes that we talked till our bus came but it means so much to me. I'm not sure about what he thought but I thought it was a big step/improvement for the both of us. I just enjoy the company of this group of friends very much and I treasure every moment I spent with them. (: Andand, I managed to talk to one of my secondary school classmate over the facebook chat thing last week! She moved to america for her studies and won't be coming back till about 4 years later. I was able to tell her so many things and I felt so much better after talking to her. Not that I have issues or anything but its just about something that I feel... I don't know how to say it so I will just leave it as that. (: Well at least I know I am on the same boat as her. hahah just saying lah. (:
Anyway, today SL,MAD and I had a very exciting afternoon.  The both of them always make my day such a good one. hahahah many others also of course! And just when I thought about quitting guitar, I could play the guitar today, the basics I mean. So I'm reconsidering. heh. Thankyou Michael and Kenji for teaching me! :D (It's 11:11 now!) On Friday, we will be going to a disabled home. Some of us will be playing the guitar, some are singing and some are dancing! Our class have put in much effort in coming up with the event! Especially Nadiah, Wanying and Azizah because they came up with the awesome dance moves.  :D I'm sure we will have a good time learning and enjoying ourselves at the home on Friday! Yay! Ohohoh, its the last gsm lesson tomorrow! :D

Everytime I blog here, I feel like I'm writing on my personal blog, not that I have one. Don't you agree? How do I blog on a class blog?

To SL: you are so sweet can! hahahaha! :D (I just saw the previous post!)

self-fulfilling prophecy

i wonder who will be reading this so i shall not reveal who am i cos its very unfair!
anyway today something happened which makes it the most memorable memory i have in poly so far. It is super funny because Madeline, Nicole and I was ... maybe i shouldn't say too much because it will not belong uniquely to us anymore! But it was very crazy and fun!

anyway back to the point of the post. The main point of the post is actually a part of me is touched by Nicole's behaviour. She is so encouraging and keeps on wanting to eat what i cook. Its like she's so positive that i will cook a very nice meal and really look forward to my fried rice which in return makes me feel that i shouldn't let her down and live up to her expectation, so i went to search recipes of fried rice in the Internet. Maybe some of you will laugh at this because i am laughing too. Like i so boliao and nothing better to do right should have done project research etc?

but because of this I realise and learn that encouragement among humans is very important. If you believe someone is special, the person will be special (even if its just for you)

Therefore we must really think through before we speak because sometimes we will be oblivious to what we are saying or we didn't register into our mind what we have said but the person whom you are communicating with on the other will take those words to heart and remember what you say.

words is like a multi-purpose sword : it can kill or save someone.

this is just another random thought i'm having and something i want to share with the class :)

anyway today was another session of the counselling ICA. I feel so bad towards wanying cos in my mind i was thinking of the jokes.. Lucky i maintain my composure although i did laugh a few times but lucky it was not bad enough to sabo.. Must learn to control my laughter! The people from ss1101 are really kind and generous i must learn from them to be kind and generous too because sometimes i find myself to be very selfish (hahaha self-disclosure)

i think you all can guess who i am already.. haiya whatever. bye.
